Name
When you sign up to use the Advice-Only Directory, we ask for your name and your email address. We don’t share any of this information with any advisor listed in the Advice-Only Directory or anyone else. You are in full control as to which advisor candidate you will contact and when. No one else will contact you because they don’t have your contact information.
Third-Party Login
After you sign up to use the Advice-Only Directory, you have the option to log in with your Facebook, Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo account. If you choose to log in with any such third-party account, we only retrieve the email address associated with your third-party account to match against your registered user name with us. Please contact us if you’d like us to remove any third-party profile information.
Payment Information
When you pay us for using the Advice-Only Directory, we again ask for your email address in order to send you a receipt for your payment. Your credit card or debit card number, expiration date, card security code, and billing zip code go directly to our secure payments provider. We don’t see or store payment information on our server.
Web Analytics Data
As with most other websites, we collect and use data from third-party web analytics services. The information provided by the web analytics services includes your IP address, your Internet Service Provider (such as Verizon or Comcast), the browser you used to visit the site (such as Chrome or Firefox), the time you visited the site, and which pages you visited throughout the site. These are not personally identifiable information.
